GC IPI is a bituminous coal-based activated carbon that is chemically impregnated with potassium iodine (2%). It is effective for the desulphurisation of gases and the removal of acidic contaminants such as hydrogen sulfide, hydrogen chloride, and mercaptans. The percentage of potassium iodine can be varied upon request.
