Impregnated Activated Carbon

GC IPP is a bituminous coal based activated carbon that is specially impregnated for the removal of formaldehyde from vapor streams. This product is also available in a coconut shell base and a number of different mesh sizes.

*100 lbs. of GC IPP activated carbon will typically adsorb 10-20lbs. of formaldehyde under ideal operating conditions.

Standard packaging is in 200lb. drums. Other packaging is available upon request.



Caution!
Wet activated carbon removes oxygen from air causing a severe hazard to workers inside carbon vessels. Confined space/low oxygen procedures should be put in place before any entry is made. Such procedures should comply with all applicable local, state and federal guidelines.
